Program Description
At Abbey of the Arts we celebrate financial accessibility and strive to make all of our programs available to those who long to participate. We offer many programs at no cost such as our daily and weekly email newsletters, the Lift Every Voice book club (including the Facebook group and monthly podcast/video conversations), the Holy Disorder of Dancing Monks Facebook group, our four 7-day Prayer Cycles of morning and evening prayer including audio and video podcasts (with more weeks to come*), and our occasional Tea with the Abbess sessions.
Our monthly contemplative prayer services and centering prayer sessions all have a free option when registering to allow full access to those experiences. We offer a sliding scale for all our online programs and extensive scholarship assistance to those who are in financial need.
We also celebrate compensating our many artist, musician, and ministry collaborators financially in ways that help support them in being able to thrive while creating meaningful resources for us and this community.

We want to gather a core circle of financial supporters to help keep our offerings and our community open and accessible to all who desire a contemplative and creative life.
*In 2023-2024 we will be creating a 7-day Love of Thousands Prayer Cycle with songs and readings to help honor angels, saints and ancestors (audio podcasts to be released in October and November 2023) as well as the video podcasts for our 7-day Soul of a Pilgrim Prayer Cycle (to be released in May-June 2024).

Sustainer Circle Dancing Monk Level
$250 one-time payment or $25 per month includes:
- Contemplative prayer services (October-June)
- Centering prayer (September-June)
- Tea with the Abbess (automatic registration)
- Weekly blessings from Christine
- Monthly scripture reflections from John
- Private Ruzuku retreat platform with a forum facilitated by Melinda Thomas to share with others.
Sustainer Circle Mystic Level
$600 one-time payment or $60 per month includes:
All of the above in the Dancing Monk level
PLUS
- Give Me a Word Retreat: Advent to Epiphany (Dec 2023-Jan 2024)
- Virtual Celtic Pilgrimage (April-May 2024)
Sustainer Circle Saint Level
$1000 one-time payment or $100 per month includes:
All of the above in the Dancing Monk and Mystic levels
PLUS
- Eyes of the Heart companion retreat to the book – completely revised and updated (Oct-Nov 2023)
- The Love of Thousands companion retreat to the book (Jan-April 2024)
- Also includes a signed copy of The Love of Thousands mailed out in early October
Sustainer Circle Archangel Level
$1700 one-time payment or $170 per month includes:
All of the above in the Dancing Monk, Mystic, and Saint levels
PLUS
- Ten monthly mini-retreats (August-May) on themes including The Cloud of Unknowing, Yoga and Creativity, Decolonizing Contemplative Practice, InterPlay, Poetry of Grief and Loss, St. Muirgen the Celtic Mermaid Saint, Sister Thea Bowman, The Dance of Conflict Transformation, Tending the Wild Heart, and Queering Contemplation.
- Spirituality of the Psalms series (September 2023)
- A Different Kind of Fast Companion Retreat for Lent (includes a copy of the book when it is published in January)
- 4-week retreat in May-June 2024 (to be announced)
- This level includes all online programs that Abbey of the Arts hosts*
*it does not include any programs Christine leads for other organizations where registration happens through the host agency.

Please contact us for permission to quote in settings beyond the program
If you choose a payment plan and stop payment before fulfilling the commitment without contacting us to make other arrangements, your access to the program will be removed.
