Words of the Heart

Nearly 300 of you responded to my invitation to allow a word to choose you which you might live into for the coming year.  The responses have been inspiring, beautiful, and profound.  Pour yourself a cup of tea and linger over them and listen for your own stirrings in response.  The image above is a Wordle (word cloud) created from all the words shared.  You can click here for a larger image or here for a PDF Version. (*Please note: the word size is in proportion to the number of times a word was selected and for those of you who had phrases, the only way to get those words to appear together is to hyphenate.)

If you didn’t get a chance to share your word, feel free to still add it.  Comments will remain open (although I have to manually approve most of them, so be patient if your submission doesn’t show up right away)

Congratulations to the four winners of the random drawing (who get to choose an online class):

Sandra K Martin (Celebrate), Suzanne (Benediction), Lorna (Hark), and Claudia Mair Burney (Unknowing).

Wonderful Wordle. May I have your permission to include in a blogpost, with credit and links to you, as I did the one for 2010?

    Thank you.

  3. Thank you for placing all the words in a wordle. I have printed this out to keep for the year and I think i will place a copy in my journal. What a wonderful resource for 2011.
    Every Blessing.

  4. That’s beautiful, Christine. It feels so good to be back! I had forgotten that “spirit” is a part that I need so badly in my life. Especially right now.
