Program Description

Are you seeking a deeper connection to the divine, creative inspiration, or renewed spiritual insight?

Join us for a transformative contemplative retreat inspired by the spirit of Abbey of the Arts.

We will honor the profound lives and legacies of Venerable Pierre Toussaint, Venerable Henriette Delille, Venerable Augustus Tolton, Venerable Mary Elizabeth Lange, Servant of God Thea Bowman, Servant of God Julia Greeley, and Servant of God Martin Maria de Porres Ward. These remarkable individuals embodied a universal spirituality, transcending boundaries with their deep contemplation, creative expression, and unwavering commitment to justice and compassion.

Through expressive arts, music, poetry, drama, movement, and silence, we will delve into their stories—not just as historical narratives, but as universal calls to awaken the sacred within ourselves. This retreat offers a unique space to listen deeply, create freely, and connect with their enduring wisdom.

You will emerge from this journey with tangible tools to:

  • Deepen your connection to the divine
  • Cultivate resilience in your spiritual and creative practice
  • Integrate ancestral wisdom into your daily life

Whether you seek inspiration for your art, clarity in your calling, or healing in your heart, this retreat offers a pathway toward wholeness rooted in justice, beauty, and grace.

We will turn on closed captioning during the live Zoom session (which you are able to turn off in your settings if you find distracting) as well as provide a video recording with closed captioning available and a text transcript of the session within 24 hours. You will be sent a notification when this is ready to view.

You have lifetime access to all online programs.
