It has been a wonderful gift to have this Monk Manifesto as a guide and companion over the past eight (plus) weeks. I have been on a “creative sabbatical” as I recover from surgery and chemotherapy following a diagnosis of cancer ( that is now “history”).
This series and the Artist’s Rule have helped me in processing what has been a significant period in my life. I will continue to revisit the principles as I discern next steps in what it looks like to be a Monk in the World. Thank You!
As the saying goes, the teacher appears when the student is ready. I am so ready for this – thank you!
What an unexpected, delightful gift to discover you all on this journey. Yes!
Thank you.
Yes. Interesting that I found this website just as I was finishing writing a paper on developing and committing to a Rule of Life.

Oh, this is beautiful and necessary and very, very good. And I stand with you all and commit to live to the best of my ability as a Monk in the World.
THANK YOU SO MUCH
I commit to being a creative dancing monk!
I affirm the beliefs and practice of the order.
I am here and I am working to be a worthy monk. Thanks to all of you and I wish you continued blessings.
