Contemplative Prayer Service: Hospitality

with Christine Valters Paintner, Simon de Voil, and guest musician Dena Jennings

Monday, November 4, 2024

5-6pm Ireland

12-1pm Eastern

9-10am Pacific

Program Description

Join us each month for an online contemplative prayer service. Simon de Voil will be leading music and Christine Valters Paintner will be leading reflection and lectio divina or other meditative practice. Special guest Dena Jennings will share her gift of music.

Each month we will explore a principle of the Monk Manifesto. This month’s theme is Hospitality.

Come be with community in real time. Deepen into this moment together through song, poetry, prayer, and silence.

We will turn on closed captioning during the live Zoom session (which you are able to turn off in your settings if you find distracting) as well as provide a video recording after the event with closed captioning available and a text transcript of the session.

The program will be recorded for those who pre-register but are unable to attend at the scheduled time or who want to view again. You will be sent a notification when this is ready to view.

You have lifetime access to all online programs.
