I found this site and have for years kept the monk manifesto in my journal. I read and pray it every week.
As I look forward to the steps ahead, I am welcoming the Abbey into my heart and my heart into the Abbey with other seekers and travelers.
I’m interested to see if there’s other dancing monks in my state or in my vicinity.
The Abbey has become a rock and a delight. I’m now ready and full of joy to sign the manifesto.
I first found the Monk Manifesto in 2014, and it was such a joy to discover this, and the beautiful Abbey of the Arts. I printed the manifesto and posted it on my studio wall, and it has always been with me. This is the way I live my life, often in solitude, and it’s so heart warming to know I am not alone in the world, living and feeling like this. Not sure there was this feature online to sign it, so in case I didn’t do it before, I sign it now, and renew my vows :D
Hoping to make the manifesto my playbook.
