Awakening Intensive: November 11-17, 2007!

Today and tomorrow is the last session for this year’s Awakening the Creative Spirit program.  It has been a wonderful journey with an amazing group of diverse participants and I am eager to see what these last days call forth from everyone.

For 2007-2008 Betsey and I decided to take a break from the monthly format of this program and instead will offer it as a weeklong intensive from November 11-17, 2007 at St. Andrew’s Retreat House on the Hood Canal a couple of hours from Seattle.  There have been many of you who have expressed the desire to participate in our program but who live at a distance.  We invite you to join us in a beautiful setting for this weeklong experiential intensive exploring tools for integrating the arts and imagination into spiritual direction ministry.  Betsey and I both have training in art therapy and the expressive arts as well as many years experience in spiritual formation and direction and it is our great joy to help participants to bring these elements together.

Please click on teaching and read more about the program.  Let me know if you have any questions at all or if you would like to reserve your place! The program cost covers all expenses except for your travel to the retreat center.

While the program is geared toward the ministry of spiritual direction, we have also had folks participate who are counselors, chaplains, or pastors, as well as those who want to participate for their own personal enrichment and explore spiritual direction as one possibile avenue for using their gifts in the future.

Have a wonderful weekend filled with the delights of creative expression!
