Engaged Spirituality

Today’s reflection post is a hodge-podge of resources.  I am behind on a number of things as I try to finish up the winter quarter and get ready for a two-week pilgrimage back east at the end of March to visit family and friends.  More about that next week. 

Beth at the Virtual Tea House is hosting a wonderful blog carnival about engaged spirituality.  Click over to read a wide variety of thoughtful posts submitted.  I shared a post I wrote a year and a half ago titled Widening Circles, it is still one of my favorites, click on the link to go revisit it.

Waverly Fitzgerald is offering a free tele-class next Saturday, March 8th for writers on allowing yourself time to create.  You have to register to participate by emailing the address listed at the site.  It is part of a whole virtual festival from March 7-9th celebrating International Women’s Day, so check out all of the possibilities.

I found this fun quiz over at Hudson’s Notebook and thought I’d try it out. I like the idea of being a comma, it reminds me of the campaign of the UCC church: “God is still speaking,“

Feels fairly accurate for an online quiz, except for the part about my friends not feeling like I have time for them, my friends are such a priority in my life. 

I have a pile of papers waiting for me to finish grading, so I will let this be enough for today.
