Listening Point

If you head over to Listening Point today, you can see a photo I took in Ireland in a wonderful forest near the ruins of Cong Abbey accompanied by one of my all-time favorite poems (which I posted here about a year ago, but it seemed time to bring it out again).  And while you’re over there, bookmark the site and keep going back to it.  Always good stuff posted there on the contemplative life and they are also looking for more regular contributors.

  1. Welcome Timothy, glad you found your way here. No, I definitely don’t believe God wants to make us rich (at least financially speaking) or sends us to “hell.” I think of my writing more as an invitation to consider possibilities for cultivating interior freedom and growth in love and compassion.

  2. Hi Christine,

I like your site. Lovely pictures and thoughtful, relevant comments. It’s nice to read commentary from a devout religious person that is not about how God will make you rich or how anyone who doesn’t agree with your faith is going to hell or is some kind of pervert. Very refreshing. I look forward to visiting often.
