With all my heart, mind, body and soul I comit to this maifestation of God in the world. Amen.
I love this, Christine, and commit to growing and exploring what being a monk in the world invites me to and to the wisdom, love and compassion and contemplation of the manifesto.
A resounding ‘yes’…to grow, create, write., draw and embrace…to be a monk in this world. I am not alone …anymore. Thank you God. Thank you.
I commit to growing as a Monk in the World.
God keeps finding me as I keep seeking ways to experience her sweet presence. I shall be a monk in the world, a guerrilla creative, springing unexpected grace from contemplation and hard work, writing and painting, and diligent wool-gathering.
Count me in!
I am committed to serve and be served by God, I commit time and effort to knowing His will in and for my life.
Today I declare myself a monk in diaspora, alone in the world but not alone. I have been a student of contemplation for six years and find my strength and peace outside among the trees that God has given us.
I am a monk in the world — a seeker — seeking and being sought. My monastery is often the numinous prairie where I find peace, Presence, and personhood.
This is my personal commitment to live a compassionate, contemplative, and creative life.
