10-11am Eastern
7-8am Pacific
Program Overview
In our Abbey yoga classes Melinda blends principles of Benedictine and inclusive spirituality with gentle, fluid asanas (yoga postures) for an experience of contemplative movement. This month’s theme is Yin/Yang yoga for sabbath rest. The first part of the practice will be more yang style heating poses, and the second half will include longer held seated and reclining yin poses to cultivate deep rest.
Two blocks, a strap or scarf, and a blanket are recommended. No prior yoga background necessary. All bodies welcome.
The program will be recorded for those who pre-register but are unable to attend at the scheduled time.
