From the Introduction:

Like much of my work, the series of Sacred Artist Interviews at my blog, began as an intuitive idea. I had the desire to hear what other artists had to say about the connection between creativity and spirituality, and to give them a place to share it. Twenty-eight interviews later and each time I discover new insights into the creative process.

When I was contemplating what theme to reflect on for my spring Reflective Art Journal I realized I had a treasure of material waiting for me already to shape into an offering for others, a way to bring these voices to an even wider audience. Several of the artists from the interviews on my blog appear in the pages that follow. Many of them are visual artists, some are musicians, poets, chefs, and artists of the inner life as well. Each artist has given me permission to quote from their interview and to print the wonderful images included here. I weave their voices together along with my own reflections on the creative path and journey and offer questions to help evoke your own reflection.

All of the profits from the sale of this issue go to support a new Fund for Scholarships and Outreach through Abbey of the Arts which is now a 501(c)3 nonprofit. Consider giving copies of this issue to everyone you know who yearns to integrate their creativity with their spirituality.
