I agree with Lucy. Very powerful and perfectly complemented by Rilke.

Thanks, Christine, for generously sharing your
blog. Your art works and reflections are beautiful
and am sure many are benefiting from it.
God bless you many times over.

  4. Christine says:

Thank you friends! Lucy, I'll never tell – well maybe over a glass (or two) of wine. :-)

  5. Deb Swingholm says:

Beautiful! The photos sing all on their own, but I love the overlay of Rilke's words. "Take your practiced powers and stretch them out until they span the chasm…." This one in particular speaks to me, now. As, recent setbacks look indeed like a chasm.

Your blog is a delight. Thanks.

  6. A lovely photo meditation!

Christine, I love the torque like energy in the off-centers and asymmetry, in this and many other exquisite graphics you've exhibited at the Abbey. Rilke's poetry prompts a bright new courage for self discovery beyond self history. But I am somehow left out of "your practiced powers," which are perhaps the ones only a carafe of wine can activate among faithful friends!

What an incredible blessing I received as I read your piece on crows this morning! And then, this beautiful poem by Rilke. Thank you, Christine.
