Wonderful color, physical power and presence in these paintings. Thanks Christine for your Sacred Artist Interviews! And great to see oil painting, again, I can almost smell the linseed here in my studio. I also visited Anne Ierardi’s home site and had much fun roaming her galleries — adore her muses — Giotto, Kandinsky, Gauguin, Chagall, Matisse and Kollwitz. I have never seen Giotto mentioned with Kollwitz before, but his intensity fits with her perfectly — the intensity of Kollwitz faces! What a profound and loving comment above also on Kahlo!
