Sacred Arts Ring

It’s time to do a lap around the Sacred Arts Ring and see what treasures we find there. First, a warm welcome to our two newest ring members: Instruments of Worship and Carrot Top Studio.
For those of you still basking in the celebration of love last Thursday, go visit Jacq’s Fibers and scroll down for a multitude of creative Valentine’s hearts. Ozark Gypsy Art is getting her mojo back. Knittting Journeyman has completed this cool tag booklet here, here, and here.
Breathe in some spring with this image from Tandaina. Sally captured a beautiful forest image on her morning walk. Kate shares some wonderfully colorful images from her trip to Mexico. Jules has some great new year images.
Rich shares a poem about the way our sense of smell can re-connect us to what is important. Bette has a poem too, inspired by a nature image.
Owen is back with some cool pen and ink drawings. Britt-Arnhild will be turning 50 soon and has created an inspiring ”Living Life“ list to mark this milestone.
Register by March 1st for weeklong classes at the Grunewald Guild this summer and you receive a 5% discount! They have some wonderful offerings. And Lisa is having her own sale over at her Etsy store.
I am going to New Orleans for a few days this week for a work meeting, but there should be some fun interspersed. I haven’t been to New Orleans since college. However never fear, I somehow summoned the energy to prepare blog posts for the whole week. I should have internet access while there, but I am not sure how often I will be online which is why I postponed our Poetry Party until next Monday. I will respond to comments and emails as swiftly as I can!
I have a new set of Spring Prayer Cards available. These replace the set I made last year and have mostly the same quotes on the back although mostly new images. I decided to edit them to be more consistent with the format of my other prayer cards and include a mini-reflection and question on the back as well. I really like the way they came out.
Order yourself a set before the end of tomorrow (Tuesday) and they will be mailed off this week, otherwise I will process your order as soon as I return.

Hope you have some fun in New Orleans, Christine. I was there a month before the hurricane and bought a beautiful picture of an angel crying. It was painted by a local fireman. It has new meaning to me now.
I love the potpouri of art and creativity. Such a rich offering of ways to connect with Spirit. Some day I will go to Gruenwald!

Thanks for all the great Sacred Arts Ring links. I hope your work meeting in New Orleans is educational with some fun thrown in, too! I’ve never been there…..yet.
