Welcome to the Ring's two newest members: Jacq's Fibers (check out these cool banners that are a part of an art swap) and Ozark Gypsy Art who also has an Etsy shop (love the banner on top!).
A few selections from around the Ring this week:
I discovered these lovely photos by Tandaina at Snow on Roses, an early breath of spring. I love how beautiful the flowers look even in black and white. In some ways I become more aware of their texture and shape. Melissa has a few more lovely black and white flower images over at Those Northern Skies.
Kazi Dolezal at Circle the Divine has an intriguing post on working with creative tension.
Kate Iredale at Through My Lens Lightly is participating in this fun challenge from Michelle Ward to use some of your blog posts in your visual journal. The challenge is meant to break you away from relying on blogging as a sole source of creative expression. Kate shares some examples from her pages.
Cathleen at Back Road Journey chronicles her making of a drum to celebrate turning 50. Happy Birthday Cathleen!
If you register before March 1st for a summer art class at the Grunewald Guild, you get a 5% discount!
And take a peek at iconographer Heather Williams Durka's website, she'll be our featured artist of the week on Thursday.
