What is Art?
January 11, 2008 · by Christine
I leave you this weekend with a link to an adorable and funny video answering the question of “what is art.” It’s from Creature Comforts who interviewed regular people about a variety of subjects and then synced their answers to claymation animals.
I am off to teach all weekend and looking forward to meeting my new students!
Thank you to everyone who participated in this week’s Poetry Party, we had a *great* turnout for the new year. Look for the next party on Monday, January 21st.
The winner of the drawing this week for a copy of Callings is Sunrise Sister. Please send me your snail mail address and I’ll get that out to you!
Make sure to scroll down and read the latest poems, the first installment of my weekly sacred artist interview, and for a rest from words with a visual meditation.

I watched “what is art” — pretty darn funny. It really is about interpretation. One mans trash and all. Have fun with your classes.

Thanks Dawn, the first day was a lot of fun. I thought the video was pretty funny too, a lot of insight out of those animals.
