Elaine at The Edible Balcony Garden reminds us that while today is Buy Nothing Day (and I'm all for breaking the consumerist cycle), you might consider a little shopping subversiveness and make a pledge to buy handmade this holiday season.

My newest zine is on ways to listen to your Callings, and will be available in early December. Or give a gift to enjoy all year with an annual subscription to four quarterly issues. Or maybe a set of my autumn prayer cards to help someone you love enter into the gifts of the season. I'm working on a set for winter as well and those will be available soon!
