Winner and Poetry Contest
October 26, 2007 · by Christine
There was such wonderful participation again for Monday’s Poetry Party, make sure you go back and linger over the 21 entries (and 18 of those are original poems). These events always feel filled with such grace and abundance to me. Thank you to everyone who contributed, I am grateful for the virtual creative community that forms for a time around the theme I propose, sharing its wisdom and beauty with all of us.
The winner of a set of my photo notecards, is Cathleen at Back Road Journey, I’ll contact you for your snail mail address and get those sent out to you.
For all of you readers who are also poets, and there are a lot of you, the Merton Insititute is sponsoring its annual Poetry Contest – I encourage you to click over and submit your sacred words!
The next Poetry Party will be on Monday, November 5th. You are most definitely invited!
May your weekend offer you some Sabbath time to renew your creative juices.
Part of my creative renewal will take place here and here. How about you?

Cathleen’s poem is magificent! Oooooh Seattle is such a happening place … I need to get there before too long. Painting like mad and just finished one entitled, “Redemption”, which I will be posting tomorrow. R & R this weekend - and enjoying the rain!!!

Both of your workshops look wonderful. I just did a workshop with Rachel Naomi Remen, which was really lovely. Can’t remember the exact title but it was about facilitating groups with burnt out psychologists and doctors!
The one I am really looking forward to is “Awakening the Creative Spirit” with our very own Christine!
