Uplifting Street Art

(discovered on a sidewalk in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle)

PS — I’ve started a professional account at Smugmug for my photos, click on over for a visit and let me know what you think!  I’ll be adding more photos when I have time.  I occasionally get requests for a reprint of a photo on this blog, so this will now be an easy way to order your own prints.  If you see a photo on the blog you love that isn’t over at Smugmug, then let me know and I’ll add it!

Remember, you can also visit me over at Etsy to order your own copy of Praying With the Elements or a subscription to the whole series.

Oh I love that! You never now when a little surprise is gonna pop up, do you? It always amazes me how something so small can bring a smile to the face.

In the nearby suburb of Oak Park, IL (home of Frank Lloyd Wright), you’ll occasionally find short poems spray painted (stenciled) on sidewalks in the shopping district. It is always a great oasis to come across fine words unexpectedly.

Yes, what a greeting. And I’ve been exploring your Smugmug account – some wonderful treasures there. Haven’t had much time to look at leisure but the concept is great.

Thanks dear friends, it did indeed bring a smile to my face, and I thought, “well, thank you!” :-)
